During feedback, your job is to challenge each teacher’s report, so everyone keeps thinking about formative assessment. After each one, ask:

  1. 1. What’s formative about that?
  2. 2. What did you do with the information you collected?
  3. 3. How did this alter your teaching?
  4. 4. How did this benefit student learning?
